[personality] If you're familiar with True Colors, all you need to know is I'm...
12-Gold, 8-Orange, 7-Blue, 3-Green
In English, that means I'm responsible, dedicated, want to be self-sufficient and useful and I value organization and rules. (That's the gold.) The orange explains my "fun" side: free, spontaneous, active, optimistic, competitive, generous, etc. And the close behind blue indicates my value on close relationships, desiring quality time with loved ones, and my ability to look beyond the surface. My lack of "green" is just proof that I'm not an intellect.

[why blog] Good question! I wrote my first post with no purpose other than to fill some time on one of our many road trips to a race (hence the title). When Matt asked me "what's the deal with 'blogging' anyway?" I really didn't have much of an explanation for him. A really good friend of mine had started a blog to help keep her accountable to her fitness and weight loss goals (ah, purpose, wait, what?!?!) I have followed her every post, and I suppose that's what really put the idea into my head.

I see my blog as being more of a melting pot of all things "me," rather than there being a focused subject. Things I believe you'll find in my blog include (but are not limited to):
  • My Walk with Jesus Christ (Triumphs & Struggles)
  • Marital Bliss
  • Pregnancy Joys & Problems
  • Mommy Moments
  • Health & Fitness (if that exists post-pregnancy)
  • Travel Adventures
  • Dirt Track Racing Drama
  • And who knows what else...
My goal is for this to be a positive and inspirational stop on your journey through blogland, but I'm also a realist, so I may have my moments.
